Emily first joined the Innocence Project of Florida in 2023. She is responsible for all early-stage casework in the Intake department, including regular correspondence with incarcerated individuals and conducting extensive public records research. Prior to her current role as Intake Specialist, she served as both an intake intern and an intake fellow.
Emily recently graduated from the University of Florida with dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Women’s Studies, along with a minor in Health Disparities in Society. She aspires to attend law school, and her academic and professional interests center on gender studies, public service, and social justice.In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time in nature, exploring local coffee shops, and spending time with her cat, Ivy.
