Chelsea joined IPF in October 2025. Prior to IPF, Chelsea worked at the Office of the Capital Collateral Regional Counsel as a postconviction attorney representing Florida’s death row inmates in state and federal court. She also previously worked at the Roderick & Solange MacArthur Justice Center in their Mississippi Office for three years working on criminal and economic justice issues. She found her passion for doing public interest work while interning for IPF in 2008 and 2009. This internship led her to law school where she spent two semesters as a certified legal intern with the Office of the Public Defender for the 2nd Judicial Circuit.
